VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd is a Finnish, state-owned company. VTT’s pilot line infrastructure in Jyväskylä, Finland, enables the development of nonwovens, testing and validating new materials and processes. In BOOST project VTT will develop sustainable nonwovens from biobased and recycled textile fibres with foam-laid and air-laid technologies.

Tampere University of Applied Sciences is a multidisciplinary and respected educator, developer and partner of working life. TAMK’s impact is particularly visible in the Tampere region, but also nationally and internationally. TAMK’s textile and material engineering laboratories enables the development of carded nonwovens, and testing of fibre materials and fabrics. In BOOST project TAMK will develop sustainable carded and needle-punched nonwovens from biobased and recycled fibres.
